Job Title: Outside Salesperson (Base + Commission)

Job Overview:
Kissing Bridge Ski Resort is seeking an energetic and motivated Outside Salesperson to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for selling outdoor recreational fun, with a focus on skiing, snowboarding, and group experiences. You will engage businesses, organizations, and event planners to promote and sell group packages for events, parties, corporate outings, and weddings.
This position offers a competitive base salary plus commission, providing the opportunity to directly benefit from your sales performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with local businesses, schools, organizations, and event planners to sell group skiing and snowboarding packages.
Target corporate events, weddings, parties, and team-building experiences, tailoring packages to suit client needs.
Actively seek out new clients through cold calling, networking, attending local events, and following up on leads.
Conduct face-to-face meetings, presentations, and site tours at Kissing Bridge to showcase our venue and offerings.
Meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs.
Collaborate with the marketing and events teams to create attractive sales materials and promotional packages.
Maintain a detailed CRM database of prospects, leads, and existing clients.
Stay up-to-date on outdoor recreational trends, competitive offerings, and client preferences to tailor sales approaches.
Represent Kissing Bridge Resort at trade shows, networking events, and community functions.

Qualifications:

Marketing Manager

Position Overview:
The Marketing Manager will be responsible for the strategic planning, execution, and analysis of marketing initiatives to drive customer acquisition, retention, and engagement at Kissing Bridge All Seasons Resort. This role requires a deep understanding of the unique dynamics of marketing a ski resort, along with expertise in digital marketing, brand development, and data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and Implement Marketing Strategies: Create and execute comprehensive marketing plans that align with the resort’s business goals, with a focus on increasing awareness, engagement, and sales across all seasons.
Campaign Management: Plan, launch, and manage marketing campaigns across various channels (digital, print, social media, email, events). Track performance metrics and make data-driven adjustments to improve results.
Customer Acquisition and Retention: Drive initiatives to attract new customers while retaining and nurturing relationships with existing guests. Utilize strategies to improve customer Lifetime Value (LTV) and understand the importance of cohort analysis for targeted marketing.
Data Analysis and Reporting: Monitor and analyze campaign performance, assess ROI, and produce regular reports on key performance metrics. Use insights to refine marketing strategies and improve overall effectiveness.
Content Strategy: Oversee the development of engaging content that resonates with diverse audiences, including skiers, snowboarders, families, and off-season visitors. Ensure all content aligns with the brand voice and attracts target segments.
Brand Management: Elevate and maintain the resort’s brand identity, ensuring consistency across all marketing channels and customer touchpoints. Develop creative campaigns that highlight the unique offerings of Kissing Bridge as an all-seasons destination.
Community Engagement: Foster partnerships with local businesses and community groups, driving brand awareness and creating mutually beneficial marketing opportunities.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including Sales, Operations, and Guest Services, to ensure alignment of marketing efforts with the resort's overall objectives. Collaborate on cross-departmental initiatives, such as event promotion and seasonal offerings.
Budget Management: Manage the marketing budget, allocating resources efficiently to maximize reach and impact. Track expenses and adjust spending as needed to ensure campaigns stay within budget.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in marketing, preferably in the hospitality, ski resort, or outdoor recreation industry.
Strong understanding of digital marketing, SEO/SEM, social media, email marketing, and content strategy.
Proven track record in customer acquisition, retention strategies, and cohort analysis.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
Experience with marketing automation platforms and CRM tools.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Creative thinker with a passion for outdoor recreation and a strong sense of community.

Lift Mechanic
POSITION SUMMARY:
Work on a close-knit team of hands-on individuals to get ski lifts prepped and running for the upcoming winter season.
QUALIFICATIONS:
MUST be 18+
CANNOT be afraid of heights
Must be able to easily climb a ladder, lift 50+ lbs.
Must be available M-F, 8a-4p
EXPERIENCE:
No experience necessary. Willing to train.
Any mechanic knowledge and experience a plus!
COMPENSATION:
Starting at $17/hour, will vary based on experience

KB MTB Trail Blazer
POSITION SUMMARY:
Work in nature as part of the KB Mountain Crew!
The Trail Blazer is someone who can work with a small, tight-knit team building, manicuring, and patrolling KB’s mountain biking trails.
They must be available on weekends and holidays and are able to do manual labor outdoors.
Must be 18+, have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to Glenwood, NY. Must be able to operate power tools and machinery (chain saws, hand saws, leaf blowers, line trimmers, etc.).

Ticket Center Cashier/Learning Center
POSITION SUMMARY: Do you like interacting with guests? Are you enthusiastic and customer focused?
The Ticket Sales Cashier position for Kissing Bridge will be responsible for processing payments and issuing tickets to guests.
Learning Center staff assist with signing guests in for lessons, helping to select lessons or packages based on their wants and needs.
This position is responsible for providing resort and ski related information as necessary to provide a positive guest experience. This position will assist with other tasks assigned by the Ticket Sales Manager as needed.
Essential Functions of the Position Include:
• Communicate effectively and appropriately with all types of guests.
• Maintains a basic knowledge of all Kissing Bridge products and services offered.
• Operates and performs simple maintenance of sales terminal.
• Assists guests with directions and other resort information.
• Remains aware of employee conduct as it may relate to resort security (i.e. - theft).
• Remains aware of consumer fraud as it may relate to resort security (i.e. - theft, etc.).
• Picks up trash and maintains a clean area in and outside of the sales area.
• Coordinate with rentals, ski and ride school, and other departments as appropriate.
• Other duties as assigned.

Parking Lot Attendant
POSITION SUMMARY: Do you like being outdoors? Are you detail oriented?
Parking Lot Attendants are responsible for guiding and parking guests at our facility. This position is responsible for providing facility and ski related information as necessary and ensuring safety to all guests in the lots to provide a positive guest experience. This position may assist with other tasks as assigned by the manager. Parking lot attendants are sometimes the first face a guest sees when they enter our resort, and we are looking for enthusiastic and positive individuals.

Lift Operator
POSITION SUMMARY: Lift Operators are responsible for providing a safe and fun experience to all guests when loading and offloading the lifts, as well as some snow maintenance for the areas where guests are entering and exiting the lift chairs. Those in this position are also responsible for adhering to safety policies and procedures and enforcing the skier code as necessary. They may assist with other duties as assigned by management.
Essential functions of the position:
• Assist customers loading and unloading on and off chair safely.
• Maintain loading and unloading ramps.
• File daily required reports and maintain sheet reports.
• Maintain ramps top and bottom.
• Perform lift safety inspections and report any problems.
• Inform ski patrol of accidents/injuries.
• Maintain a general knowledge of the ski hill to direct ski patrol and guests.
• Maintain knowledge of skier code and enforce rules.
• Assist new employees on lift operations.
• Follow safety rules and regulations.

KB Watch
POSITION SUMMARY: The KB Watch position for Kissing Bridge will be responsible for maintaining a safe and fun environment for all guests and staff on the grounds of the resort facilities. This position is responsible for regularly monitoring conditions and hazards throughout the resort to provide a positive guest experience. This position will assist with other tasks assigned by the Manager of Ski Patrol as needed.
Essential functions of the position:
• Patrol all areas of the resort / on hill and off hill.
• Provide assistance to customers or other departments.
• Alert outside reinforcement if needed (ex. State Police, etc).
• Maintain proper logs and documents regarding any incidents or reports.
• Store and report lost equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.
Position Qualifications:
EXPERIENCE:
- 1-2 years of experience in a customer service-oriented environment preferred.
- Experience with skiing or snowboarding required.
- Safety and First Aid Training preferred.

Maintenance (inside)
POSITION SUMMARY: The Maintenance position for Kissing Bridge will be responsible for maintaining a clean and healthy environment for all guests and staff inside the resort facilities. This position is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing regularly throughout the resort to provide a positive guest experience. This position will assist with other tasks assigned by the Manager as needed.
Essential functions of the position: ADD BULLETS
• Complete daily tasks around the lodge to keep buildings clean and organized.
• Cleaning of restrooms, lobby and all areas of lodge, including but not limited to vacuuming, garbage removal
inside and outside.
• Outside – required to shovel and snow removal.
• Able to work well with others and with limited supervision.
• Other duties as assigned.

Terrain Park
POSITION SUMMARY: Are you someone who enjoys Terrain Parks and wants to contribute to the success of the parks here at Kissing Bridge?
Maintaining park features amidst changing weather conditions, and ensuring guests have a safe and fun experience is a key aspect of working at the Terrain Park.
This is a position which requires physical labor, and good work ethic.
Essential functions of the position:
- Working with other Terrain Park crew members to maintain the features and park areas, including checking for any safety issues.
- Work with Ski Patrol to address any concerns.
- Ride in the park to make sure features are setup and operating correctly and safely.
- Ensure guests using the parks are enjoying their experience in the parks.
- Rake features near end of shift and check for any safety issues before leaving.
Position Qualifications:
EXPERIENCE:
- Core fundamentals of riding in the Terrain Parks.
- At least 3 years of riding in the parks; preference for 5 years.
SKILLS:
- Capable of using hand tools, such as: shovels, rakes, pickaxes. Other tools as necessary.
- Ability to work with other Terrain Park team members.
- Ability to work well with the public; possibly interacting with those who have questions or need assistance.
- Proven record of punctuality and responsibility.
